Oscorp Energy is building AI-powered robotics to make recycling infrastructure safer, smarter, and more resilient.

As lithium batteries increasingly enter mixed waste streams, recycling facilities face a growing risk of fires, equipment damage, operational downtime, and worker safety incidents. Oscorp addresses this critical infrastructure problem with WAYNE, a robotic module that can be installed on existing conveyor belts to detect and remove hazardous batteries in real time.

By combining computer vision, infrared sensing, X-ray imaging, and AI, Oscorp enables waste and recycling operators to identify dangerous battery materials before they reach high-risk processing stages. The platform not only reduces fire risk and protects workers, but also generates operational data that can support safety, compliance, and plant optimization.

Oscorp sits at the intersection of AI, robotics, recycling, and battery circularity, helping modernize a sector under increasing pressure from electrification, regulation, and rising waste complexity. The company is already working with a leading Australian battery recycler, validating its technology in a market where prevention, automation, and reliability are becoming mission-critical.
